Cadence Timers · iOS

Privacy Policy

Effective: July 2026

Overview

Cadence Timers is built with your privacy as a priority. It does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information, and it works entirely on your device.

Data Collection

We do not collect any personal information. Cadence has no account system, no analytics, no third-party tracking, no advertising, and makes no network connections. Nothing is sent to any server.

Permissions

Cadence asks for one permission, and only to make timers reliable:

Cadence does not access your location, contacts, photos, microphone, files, or music library. It plays short built-in cue sounds, which needs no permission.

Data Storage

Your timers and preferences (phases, saved plans, the current running session, and cue settings) are stored locally on your device. They are never transmitted off your device.

Sharing Timers

When you share a timer, Cadence creates a link that describes that timer and hands it to the standard iOS share sheet. You choose where it goes. The app itself sends nothing to any server, and no server is involved in creating or opening the link.

Third-Party Services

Cadence does not use any third-party services, analytics, or advertising networks.

Children's Privacy

Cadence does not collect any personal information from any user, including children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

Any significant changes will be reflected in the app's App Store release notes and on this page.
